STORM LAKE, IOWA (Sept. 28, 2024) – Buena Vista University Athletics inducted five individuals and one team into the Athletics Hall of Fame as its Class of 2024

Keven Besch ’87, Mike Wilson ’92, Rick Schweitzberger ’00, Jennifer (Lange) Mavis ’02, and Brad Blum ‘11 joined the 2004 BVU women’s basketball team as the newest members to be formally enshrined into the BVU Athletics Hall of Fame during Homecoming/Hall of Fame weekend on Sept. 27-28.

“I know some of you and had the great fortune of watching a few of you compete for Buena Vista,” said BVU President Brian Lenzmeier. “I’m grateful for all of you Hall of Famers, and those who have joined you tonight to celebrate."

The honorees were inducted during a formal banquet on the evening on Sept. 27, which included video presentations showcasing each athlete and team. They were then recognized during halftime of the Homecoming football game on Sept. 28.
