DECORAH, Iowa (Sept. 27, 2024) - The Buena Vista University women's tennis team was back on the road Friday afternoon for an American Rivers Conference match at Luther College, but the Beavers were dealt a tough 7-0 setback by the Norse.

The Norse got things going in commanding fashion by sweeping through doubles play and allowing BVU to score just one total point. In singles play, sophomore Macy Weller was the lone individual to score points in both sets with the Beavers scoring in only two others.

Order of finish in singles play was: 5,4, 6, 3, 2, 1.

Buena Vista is now 0-8 overall (0-3 A-R-C) while the Norse improve to 6-1, 6-0 A-R-C). The Beavers remain on the road Saturday morning when they play at Coe College starting at 10 a.m.
