LINCOLN, Neb. (May 11, 2024) - Kyle Miller captured all-conference accolades on Saturday's final day of the 2024 American Rivers Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships by taking second place overall in the 800-meter run.
Miller qualified into the finals with the second fastest time in Friday's prelims and would better that time and cross the finish line on Saturday with a time of 1:51.03.
Ashton Bates qualified into the finals of the 100m and 200m and would finish eighth and seventh, respectively.
Aiden Egertson set a new personal record in the 1500m run with a time of 4:16.65.
Senior Zackary Huffman placed fifth overall in the javelin throw with a heave of 51.68m while Isaiah Thomas took eighth in the triple jump with a new personal record.
Buena Vista will send select individuals to the Last Chance Meet hosted by Augustana College (Ill.) on May 17 before the NCAA Championships on May 23-25.
