Box Score CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Oct. 15, 2024) - The Buena Vista University men's soccer team was back on the pitch Tuesday night to play at Coe College, but the Beavers again came up on the short end of a 4-0 loss by the Kohawks.

Coe found the back of the net in the first three minutes of action and that 1-0 score stood going into the half. The Kohawks then pulled away within the first 10 minutes of the second half with two goals only a minute apart to take a 3-0 lead. The final goal came in the 71'.

Buena Vista was held to only three shot attempts in the contest with two of those coming in the first half. Junior Kendall Bickford registered two of the three attempts and Jacob Adams added the third. Cody Fuller went the distance in-goal and despite allowing four goals, he did post 10 saves.

Brandon Kostelny scored a pair of goals for the Kohawks (6-7-1, 2-2-0 A-R-C) and had six of the team's 22 shots.

Buena Vista is now 8-7 overall (0-5 A-R-C) and will step out of conference play for a non-conference home match against Oak Hills Christian College on Friday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m.
