Wartburg built its largest lead of the game at 23 points (78-55) with 3:40 left in the contest. The Beavers did hang tough by scoring six straight down the stretch but the deficit was just too much to overcome.
BVU was plagued by 24 turnovers in the contest which in turn led to 37 Wartburg points.
Both teams shot 40 percent from the field overall. The Knights did a good chunk of damage at the free-throw line by going 21-of-31 while BVU was just 9-of-11.
Sara Faber led the Knights (14-2, 7-0 A-R-C) with a game-high 28 points.
Buena Vista is now 1-13 overall (0-7 A-R-C) and travels to Neb. Wesleyan (0-12, 0-7 A-R-C) on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Tip-off inside of Snyder Arena is set for 5:30 p.m.
