STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers Overwatch Gold squad picked up the first ever win in program history opening up Emergents Heartland B competition against Hastings College. The Beavers took the contest 3-0 with 2-0, 4-3 and 3-0 wins improving to 1-0 on the season. The Navy squad fell 3-0 against Illinois State University by scores of 2-0, 1-0 and 3-1. Smash Crew battles opened up the Varsity Plus season with a 2-0 (12-8, 12-6) victory over Mid-America Christian University. They improve to 1-0 on the season. 

Beau Wilken had a tough Madden match with a player from Augustana College (Ill.) falling 2-0 (6-0, 17-10).
