STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers Esports squad competed yesterday at the Mid-America Energy Invitational in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The Beavers competed well with RL and Elphazard Kadisha finishing in the top half of their respective tournaments.
The Rocket League squad went 3-1 in Pool play falling to the eventual champions of the event Monkey Men 3-0 before beating Northwestern College JV A, Northwestern College JV B and Highland Community College 3-0 advancing into the bracket play of the day. The Beavers fell to Northwerstern College Varsity 3-1 and Wayne State College 3-0 in the third place game to finish 4th.

Kadisha and Assistant Director Albert Rassavong competed in Smash Singles with both finishing in the top 16 of the event. There were 47 participants and both advanced into the top 16 bracket after pool play. Kadisha went 2-2 in pool play while Rassavong went 4-1. In bracket play they both went 0-2.
