STORM LAKE, Iowa (May 18, 2023) - The American Rivers Conference has announced its 2023 All-Conference Softball Team and Buena Vista University junior Jamie Wendt has been voted to the Second Team at second base by the league coaches.

Wendt hit .286 during conference play with a double and five RBI while also scoring seven runs. Hitting in the middle of the Beaver line-up most of the season, she chalked up three multi-hit games against league foes, including a 3-for-4 effort with an RBI in the opening game of the doubleheader against the University of Dubuque. Wendt was among the top defensive players at second base throughout the league, making only three errors in 59 total chances (.949). 

This is the first career all-conference recognition for Wendt.
