STORM LAKE, Iowa (March 6, 2023) - Becca Simpson has officially landed her spot into the 2023 NCAA DIII Indoor Track & Field Championships in both the shot put and weight throw on March 10-11 in Birmingham, Ala. The NCAA released its final list of qualifiers on Sunday afternoon.

Simpson will take part in the shot put on Friday, March 10. The event is set to begin at 3 p.m. with Simpson being in Flight 2. She enters the championships seeded fifth of the 20 qualifiers at 14.64m. The top qualifying mark is 14.95m.

In the weight throw, Simpson's school-record toss of 17.71m has her seeded 10th among the group of 20. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. The top qualifying toss is at 19.44m.

Last season, Simpson became an All-American for the first time with her seventh-place finish in the weight throw.
