STORM LAKE, Iowa (Feb. 7, 2023) - The Buena Vista women's basketball team is set to play at Simpson College on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 5:30 pm. and at Wartburg College on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 pm.

In the Beavers loss to Coe College on Saturday, senior Kayley Dresback led the Beavers with 13 points and Danika Demers recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Lindsey Anhalt also contributed 10 points for the Beavers.

McKenna Cone is the Beavers leading scorer with 252 points this season. Abby Nagel is shooting 44% from long range going, 12-for-27 on the season. Vanessa Hamlet leads the team with 82% shooting (54-of-66) from the line. Demers leads the team with 89 assists and also leads the team with 38 steals. Hamlet leads the team with 111 rebounds on the season. 

Haley Rasmussen leads Simpson with 274 points this season. Rusmussen is leading the team with 80% shooting (39-for-49) from the line. Anna Wanek is also shooting 80%, going 35-for-44 from the line. Dylan Holland is the team's leading rebounder with 110. Cassie Nash leads the team in assists with 77 on the season. Nash also leads the team in steals with 67. 

Sara Faber is Wartburg's leading scorer with 304 points and followed by Jaedon Murphy with 299 points. Maggie Wilkins is the leading free-throw shooter with 87% shooting (23-for-26). Murphy is behind her with 83% shooting (45-for-54) from the line on the season. Murphy also leads the team in rebounds with 124 this season. Faber leads the team in assists with 60 and steals with 32. 

Following this week, the Beavers play host to Central College on Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 5:30 pm for the last regular season game.
