STORM LAKE, Iowa - The BVU Smash Crew battle squad picked up their first victory of the spring season by defeating the University of Montana Tan 2-0 (12-7, 12-5). The Beavers were led by Elphazard Kadisha as he took 20 of the 24 stocks available to take. 

In the first best of 12 stock match Kadisha took nine stocks compared to losing just three. Eli Krob came in and took two stocks off Montana Tans final player before Noah Thurston capped it off taking the final stock to go up 1-0. Kadisha used Mewtwo in is performance. 

In round two Kadisha was on fire with Mewtwo once again.He took 11 of the 12 stocks before loosing his final stock. Krob came in to finish off the Grizzlies with Hero. BVU improves to 1-2 on the season and will compete next Tuesday, March 7 against Carroll University.
