STORM LAKE, Iowa (Sept. 30, 2023) - The Buena Vista men's soccer team capped off Family Weekend by hosting Luther College on Saturday night inside of J. Leslie Rollins Stadium, but despite trailing just 1-0 at halftime, the Beavers went on to fall to the visiting Norse (3-3-3, 2-0 A-R-C) by the score of 4-0.

Luther, which tallied eight shots-on-goal in the match, broke the scoreless contest midway through the first half and that's how things would stand until 15 minutes into the second half until the Norse scored twice within a matter of minutes to go in front 3-0. They would go on to cap the scoring with the final goal with 12 minutes to play.

BVU was held without a single shot attempt in the contest as well as a corner kick. Cody Fuller went the distance while guarding the net and posted four saves.

Buena Vista is now 1-7-2 (0-2 A-R-C) and travels to Central College on Oct. 4 for a 1 p.m. kickoff with the Dutch.
