Preview: Women's Basketball vs Dubuque and Coe

The Beavers are set to play at home against the University of Dubuque on Wednesday February 1 at 5:30 p.m. and Coe College on Saturday February 4 at 2:00 p.m.
In the Beavers close loss to Nebraska Wesleyan on Wednesday January 25, McKenna Cone and Lindsey Anhalt led the team with 13 points. Danika Demers led the team with 5 steals and had 9 points herself. The team went 17-20 from the free-throw line. In the Beavers loss to Luther College on Saturday January 28, McKenna Cone was the teams leading scorer with 16 points. Vanessa Hamlett had 10 points in the game as well. The Beavers went 7-11 from the free-throw line.
 
McKenna Cone is the Beavers leading scorer on the season with 233 points. Abby Nagel is shooting 48% from the 3-point line going 11-23 on the season. Vanessa Hamlett leads the team with 82% and shooting 51-62 from the free-throw line this season. Danika Demers is shooting 82% and going 31-38 from the free-throw line. Vanessa Hamlett is the teams leading rebounder with 103 rebounds and Lindsey Anhalt is right behind her with 101 rebounds. Danika Demers leads the team in assists with 85 and she also leads the team in steals with 37.

Kathleen Mathias is 70% shooting 32-46 from the free-throw line for Dubuque. She is also leading the team in assists with 66. Morgan Hawkins is the team's leading rebounder with 149 on the season. Kaalyn Peterson is Coe College's leading scorer with 265 points and following closely behind her is Caydee Kirkham with 260 points. Caydee Kirkham is shooting 49% going 20-41 from the 3-point line. Ellie Wisner is 29-30 shooting 98% from the free-throw line for Coe. Kaalyn Peterson is the leading rebounder with 203. Caydee Kirkham is leading the team in assists with 74 and also is leading the team in steals, 29. Molly Buck is shortly behind her with 26 steals.
 
The Beavers then go on the road to Simpson College on Wednesday February 8 at 5:30 p.m. Then they travel to Wartburg College Saturday February 11 at 2:00 p.m.
