The Beavers continue their home schedule to wrap up the calendar year and look to continue their strong play inside of Siebens Fieldhouse this season. The team split a pair of games on the home court a week ago and are 3-1 at home this season. The most recent of those outings was a tough 76-72 home loss to Luther College in an American Rivers Conference match-up on December 10. Sophomore
McKenna Cone, who currently leads the team in scoring overall (11.6ppg) turned in a game-high 22 points to help lead the way. During those four home contests, BVU is averaging nearly 70.0ppg and shooting 41 percent from the field. It's been a balanced attack on the offensive end for the team overall with four players averaging at least 8.0pp. Freshman
Danika Demers is right behind Cone by pouring in 8.7ppg, to go along with 4.5rpg, 4.3apg and 2.0spg. She's also averaging a team-high 28.4 minutes per outing.
Vanessa Hamlett is fourth on the team at 8.4ppg while leading the way in rebounding (5.5rpg) and shooting a team-leading 49.2 percent from the field and 84.4 percent at the free-throw line. As a team, the Beavers have been doing damage at the charity stripe all season by ranking second in the A-R-C in total free-throw attempts (193) and sitting third in percentage (74.6). Defensively, the team has 110 steals and is one of just two teams in the league (Dubuque, 125) to currently have more than 100.

The Knights, members of the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), take the floor having dropped three straight games since a 64-63 victory over Waldorf on November 28. Friday's game will also be the team's first road game in a month since picking up a 64-55 win at Waldorf on November 18. The team is getting most of its scoring production from its starting five on the year. That group accounts for 79 percent of the overall scoring. Lydia Feidt helps lead the way with 12.1pp and 6.0rpg. Emma Nelson is also averaging double figures in scoring at 10.2ppg and is shooing a team-leading 44.4 percent from the field. As a team, the Knights are averaging 60.2ppg and shooting 34.7 percent from the field. The team has gotten a boost from its long range shooting, making at least six from behind the arc in seven of its nine games despite shooting 29.9 percent.
