STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers Valorant squad starts NECC playoff action tonight at 7:30 pm against Waldorf University. The Beavers come into the night as the #1 seed in the Navigators Great Plains Division while Waldorf is the 8th seed. The two squads met last week wrapping up the regular season with the Beavers winning 2-0 (13-3, 13-9). The game will be broadcasted on Twitch at www.twitch.tv/bvuesports. 

The regular season was a dominating performance for the Beavers as they went 8-0 going 16-2 in maps. They led rounds 232-133 and only lost maps to #2 seed Milwaukee School of Engineering and Robert Morris University 15-13. 

The Beavers opened up the season with a 2-0 (13-3, 13-3) victory over Bradley University. BVU followed that up with a 2-0 (13-11, 13-8) victory over Coe College. In Week three they fell behind MSOE losing the first map 13-9 before rallying with 15-13 and 13-11 victories to come away with the 2-1 win. In week 4 the Beavers came away with another 2-0 (13-5, 13-11) victory this time over Clark Chromatic. In Week 5 the Beavers beat Marion 2-0 (13-5, 13-2). 

Week 6 their other 2-1 victory this time against Robert Morris Academy Red. The Beavers once again fell 15-13 in map one but came back to win 13-5 in map 2 and 13-11 in Map 3. Week 7 and 8 were 2-0 sweeps with BVU winning 13-4 and 13-1 against Grandview Black and 13-3, 13-9 against Waldorf. 

The Beavers lineup has been solid and stayed consistent throughout the season. Their five players are Jackson Trotman, Elizabeth Franken, Cameron Germain, Max Grace and Aiden Webber. Good luck to the team as they look for their first tournament title. They are the first team for BVU to take the #1 seed in their division.
