STORM LAKE, Iowa (Oct. 7, 2022) - The Buena Vista women's tennis team hosted the University of Dubuque on Friday afternoon and came away with its first American Rivers Conference win of the year by taking down the Spartans in thrilling fashion, 5-4.

Dubuque would win both doubles matches that were played while Taylor Fritz and Abigail King won by forfeit in the third.

After the Spartans claimed singles wins at both No. 1 and No. 2, the Beavers would close things out in style by winning each of the final four with three coming in straight and the fourth by forfeit.

Buena Vista is now 1-11 overall (1-6 A-R-C) and will close out its league schedule on Saturday morning by hosting Loras College at 11:00 a.m.
