Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Oct. 22, 2022) – Playing Coe College for the first time this season, the Beavers fell to an unfortunate five-set loss after their recent 4-game overall win streak. Junior
Skylar Cole had her first double-digit kill total since the first weekend of the season, finishing off with 10 kills. With a season-high of 49 assists by
Taylor Wedemeyer, she now needs 22 more assists to become third on BVU's all-time career list.
Rachel Brockney ended up with 20 digs, tying up her career-high for a third go-around while turning in a team-high 18 kills.

The Beavers fell short in the first set 25-19, but pushed the pace collectively to win both upcoming sets. The women won the second set swiftly 26-24 and put themselves at an advantage by winning the third set 25-13. They fell short in the fourth set 25-22 and continued to put up a strong fight despite losing the fifth set 15-9.

The BVU Volleyball team will play again on its home court against Nebraska Wesleyan on Wednesday, October 26. As both teams are tied with Dubuque for 3
rd in the conference standings, a win by the Beavers would earn them a No.3 seed into the upcoming conference tournament.
