In iRacing
Joshua Tigges open up his season at the Texas Motor Speedway. Tigges qualified straight to the feature where he ended up finishing 24th our of 30 racers. The race did not go his way as he got caught up in some early messes. After a 20-lap great flag run to start the race, a caution was brought out an bunched everyone up. Unfortunately, that meant there was a train that bunched up in the tight tri-oval. Ultimately, Tigges got hooked in the right rear and was turned in front of the pack to bring out another caution and totaled his car. He was forced to use his only fast repair and attempted to work his way back through the field from a lap down. The race ended up going green the rest of the way. He was able to make a last lap pass to finish 24th. He will look to qualify to race in the Premiere Series again in two weeks at North Wilkesboro on February 1st.
