Alexa Waldhoff scored her first career goal and the first for the Buena Vista women's soccer team this season, but it wasn't enough on Saturday as the Beavers fell on the road to the Kohawks, 9-1, to close out its season.
Coe scored a pair of goals in the first 15:00 of action and added two more late goals in the opening period to take a 4-0 lead into the half. The margin increased to 7-0 early in the second half before BVU got on the board with an unassisted goal from Waldhoff late in the 68th minute. The Kohawks, who had 43 total shots in the contest, added two late goals for the final scoring of the night.
Sydney Schroder recorded the hat trick for Coe with three goals on five total shots as the Kohawks ended the year at 1-7 (1-6 A-R-C).
McKeely Tjaden turned in 21 saves as BVU closes out its campaign at 0-8 (0-8 A-R-C).
