DUBUQUE, Iowa (April 17, 2021) - The Buena Vista men's soccer team went back on the road on Saturday evening and was tripped up by the University of Dubuque in an 8-0 setback to the Spartans.
The Beavers trailed just 2-0 at the half but couldn't find enough offense while being outshot in the match, 46-2.
The Spartans scored within the first two miuntes of the second to make it 3-0 and would scored twice over the the final three-and-a-half minutes for the final two of the day.
Chris Miller and
Troy Finnegan each had shots-on-goal for BVU while
Noah Hoffman got the start in-goal and played all 90 minutes while recording 15 saves.
Buena Vista is now 0-6 overall (0-6 A-R-C) and will close out the home schedule on Wednesday night, April 21, at 7:30 p.m.
