STORM LAKE, Iowa (December 5, 2019) - The Buena Vista University track and field teams will get in a little early competition before the holiday break when they host the second-annual BVU Early Bird Meet inside of the Lamberti Rec Center on Friday starting at 11 a.m.

A total of four teams, along with a handful of unattached individuals, are expected to take part in the event.  Field events will get underway at 11:00 a.m. with the final race of the day scheduled to begin around 3:30 p.m.

Following the competition, the Beavers will then be off until January 18 at the Chelsea Henkenius Open, hosted by Wartburg College.
