Inside the series - Loras held off BVU in the first meeting this season, 73-62.  Holly Schneider led four Beavers in double figures with 13 points.  The Duhawks have won two straight in the series and three of the last four.  BVU picked up a 69-56 victory last season in Dubuque after falling 76-73 in Storm Lake.  Loras leads the all-time series 37-32.

About Buena Vista - The Beavers are coming off a tough 97-72 home loss to #19 Wartburg last Wednesday night.  The game was much tighter than the score indicates as the Knights used a late fourth-quarter surge to break open what was an eight-point margin.  Despite the loss, BVU shot 9-of-20 from downtown and 44 percent overall.  It also made 13-of-16 at the free-throw line.  For the year, the Beavers are shooting just under 38 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the arc while scoring an average of 63.8 points per game.  The team has lost three of its last four games by single digits and has begun shooting the ball much more efficient during that stretch.  Holly Schneider leads the team and is 13th in the league in scoring at 11.8ppg during conference play with Erin Gerke and Destiny Einerwold right behind in 16th and 18th at 10.3ppg and 10.1ppg, respectively.  Schneider is also 13th in rebounding at 6.3rpg with Morgan Muhlbauer directly in front at 6.7rpg.
