Fisher scored 12 of her 19 in the second half and entered the game needing only 13 to become the 17th player in school history to reach the prestiguous milestone.  She made 7-of-18 shot attempts from the field, including a pair of three-point baskets.  She also chipped in with a team-best eight rebounds to go along with three steals.

Becca Pennington made 10-of-11 free-throw attempts and followed with 15 points, while Jasmyn Flynn-Graves added 14 points, as well as a career-high five steals, to go along with three blocks.

Junior Jessica Jager chimed in with a career-high 10 points as four of the team's five starters were in double figures.  Fellow junior Sidney Beckman came off the bench to add 11 points, two assists and a pair of steals.

Buena Vista shot 36 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free-throw line (24-of-32).  It held the Vikings to 34 percent from the field, while they attempted only six free-throws.

The Beavers went on a run late in the first quarter and opened up a 21-9 advantage after 10 minutes of play.  The Vikings kept things in check throughout the second, as BVU took a 42-31 halftime lead.

BVU led by as many as 16 in the third quarter as Fisher made a three-pointer to give the Beavers a 49-33 cushion less than two minutes in. Grand View tried to mount a late comeback, clawing back within nine with 2:12 to go in the quarter.  BVU, however, scored seven of the final 10 points to take a 12-point lead in the fourth.

Grand View again started strong, cutting the deficit to six less than three minutes into the period.  Jager, who made a pair of three-point shots, hit a big one to make it a nine-point game.

The Vikings (4-3) got as close as six multiple times down the stretch, but the Beavers continued to sink free-throws to make it hard for Grand View to get cut the deficit down any further.

Buena Vista pushes its season record to 3-2 and will look to make it consecutive wins when it plays Iowa Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm.  The Tigers fell, 60-53, to the host Storm in Friday's late game.
