Box Score Grinnell College scored twice in each half on Sunday afternoon and held the Buena Vista men's soccer team to only three shots-on-goal, as the Pioneers left J. Leslie Rollins Stadium with a 4-0 victory over the Beavers.
Grinnell broke a scoreless match with only 16 minutes left in the first half and went on to add a goal with under two minutes left in the half for a 2-0 halftime lead.
Artis Curiskis added a pair of second half goals for the Pioneers, which had 13 of their 20 shots in the match on-goal.
Kwame Antwi finished with four of BVU's 10 shots in the match, as the Beavers dropped back-to-back matches for the first time all year.
Jordan Balster went the distance in-goal for BVU, and posted seven saves.
The Beavers look to bounce back on Tuesday night, September 23, when they host Faith Baptist Bible College at 6:0pm in the team's final tune-up before starting Iowa Conference play next Saturday at home against the Unviersity of Dubuque.
