The Buena Vista softball team rallied in the 10th inning to score four runs in the bottom of the inning to complete the comeback against Bethel University with a 6-5 triumph.  The Royals then scored five runs in the first inning of the nightcap en route to an 8-0 win in five innings.

Complete stats are not currently available for the opening game of the doubleheader.  Bethel did break a 2-2 tie in the top of the 10th by scoring three times before the Beavers came all the way back in the bottom half with a two-run double by Marissa Schmidt to cap the rally.

Bethel got off to a fast start in game two, scoring five times before adding a sixth in the second on a lead-off home run.

The game later ended in the fifth after the Royals scored twice more.

Buena Vista is now 1-3 on the year and will close out the trip to the Rosemount Dome on Sunday morning with a doubleheader against UW-River Falls starting at 8:00am.
