The Buena Vista men's soccer team began Iowa Conference play with a road match at Luther College on Saturday afternoon, but it was the Norse who out-shot the Beavers, 24-0, in the contest en route to a 7-0 victory.

The Norse got on the board late in the fifth minute and later added three more goals for a 4-0 lead less than 20 minutes into play.  After leading 5-0 at the half, they added a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes of the second stanza for the final scores of the contest.

Luther (7-3, 1-0 IIAC) had 18 different players take shots in the contest.

Buena Vista dips to 3-6 overall (0-1 IIAC) and will look to bounce back on Wednesday evening when the team hosts Wartburg College at 7:30pm.
