The Buena Vista men's soccer team was back on the road to continue its Iowa Conference schedule on Saturday night, and it was the Beavers coming up short against the University of Dubuque, falling 4-0.

BVU was held to only eight shots in the contest, including one shot-on-goal each from Tyler Lafferty and Kwame Antwi.

The Spartans broke the scoreless match early in the first half, getting a goal just seven minutes into play for a 1-0 lead.  They extended the margin to 2-0 midway through the period before making it a 3-0 advtange six minutes later.  The final goal came 13 minutes into the second half, as Dubuque finished the night with 26 shots, including nine on-goal.

Buena Vista is now 4-13 overall (0-6 IIAC) and will wrap up its season this upcoming Tuesday afternoon with an Iowa Conference road match at Coe College beginning at 3:00pm.
