Cory Grover will start his second year with the Buena Vista golf program as the assistant to the women’s and men’s programs in the fall of 2022. In addition to his coaching duties, Grover also serves as the general manager at the Buena Vista University Golf Course at Lake Creek.
Prior to BVU, Grover spent ten years coaching and directing youth and high school athletics in North Dakota, Wyoming and Texas. In addition to Grover’s role in athletics for his communities, Grover severed as a regional manager responsible for sales and operations for an oil and gas supply company based out Houston, Texas.
Grover was a collegiate athlete playing four years of football, starting at Eastern New Mexico University (NCAA div.II) in Portales, N.M., then finishing his remaining years at Mayville State University (NAIA) in Mayville, N.D. Grover finished as an academic all-American and all-conference while graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education and coaching in 2012.
Wife (Heather) and son (Everett) joined Cory in the Storm Lake community in the summer of 2021.
