Volunteer Assistant Women's Wrestling Coach

Dr. Jason Shepherd is a 1999 graduate of Buena Vista University and former Beaver wrestler. In addition to coaching at BVU, he has served as an assistant wrestling coach at Ridge View High School, a school whose wrestling room has about the same number of boys and girls.

Shepherd serves as Professor of Computer Science at BVU and has been a member of the faculty since 2007. He has been a recipient of both the George Wythe Award for Excellence in Teaching and the New Century Faculty Development Award for Advising.
