About Kennedy: Is the daughter of Jay Niday and Robin Niday...has one brother, Brayden Bumstead.

High School Highlights: A 4x letterwinner in softball (2010-14)..A 2x All-Conference selection...Was a member of three straight conference championships...Played on a state qualifying team in 2013.

College Highlights:

2018: Kennedy appeared in 30 games this year and had 30 starts. She accumulated 29 hits in 88 at-bats giving her a batting average of .330. She ranked fourth on the team in runs batted in with 19 and scored 16 runs. She hit 7 doubles and also walked 7 times. In the Beavers final game against Wartburg Kennedy went 1-for-3 with a homerun and had two runs batted in. 

2017: Appeared in 34 games...Had 16 hits in 74 at-bats...Made her BVU debut in the team''s season-opening DH at Westminster on March 10...went 1-for-3 with an RBI in her first game...Had her first double against Elmhurst on March 18...Had two hits and matched a season-high with two RBI against Minnesota-Morris on April 2.

Transferred to BVU as a junior from Morningside College where she played softball from 2014-16.
