About Haley: Is the daughter of Jim and Kay...has three brothers, Peter, Tristan and Kyle, along with one sister, Kelsey...her brother, Kyle, played college football at Briar Cliff, while her sister, Kelsey, played collegiate basketball at the College of St. Mary.
High School Highlights: Was a three-time varsity letterwinner for the Tigers, earning All-Racoon River Conference accolades each year. She was also tabbed an All-Western Iowa Honorable Mention selection following her junior season. In addition to softball, she lettered as a junior and senior in basketball and was tabbed as an Honorable Mention All-Conference selection as a senior. She also lettered her final two years in cheerleading and was an Honor Squad member as a football cheerleader he senior year.
Aside from athletics, she was a member of the National Honor Society and was an IGHASU All-Academic selection.
College Highlights:
2017: Played in 25 games...Made 19 starts, primarily at first base...Had one hit in just 10 at-bats...Scored five runs...Had just one error in over 90 total chances.
2016: She appeared in 28 games and started 23 of those. Over that time she hit 2 home runs and collected 8 RBI’s and scored 10 runs. Against UW-Stevens Point she went 2-3 with 4 RBI’s and hit a home run.
2015: Haley played in 36 games and made 31 starts as a sophomore. She finished the year hitting .158 in 76 at-bats, including three doubles and her first career home run. Playing primarily at first base, she committed only three erorrs in over 220 total chances. Her home run came during a win at nationally-ranked Washington University (Mo.) on March 21. She later drove in a career-best two runs in a 4-3 win at Northwestern College (IA) on April 24.
2014: She appeared in seven games and recorded 11 at-bats. She went 1-for-3 in her collegiate debut against nationally-ranked St. Thomas (Minn.).
