About Brittney: Is the daughter of Doug and Bev...has one brother, Lucas.

High School Highlights: Was a five-time letterwinner for the Blue Devils where she was a three-time Pride of Iowa First Team Pitcher and two-time Second Team outfielder. She also earned All-State recognition one year. In addition to softball, she was a four-time letterwinner in basketball and was a First Team Pride of Iowa Conference selection one year, Second Team selection one year and Honorable Mention performer twice. She was also a two-time letterwinner in volleyball. Aside from athletics, Brittney was listed on the Honor Roll all four years and was a member of the National Honor Society.

College Highlights:
2014: She played in 32 of the team''s 36 games on the year and played a key role both on the mound and at the plate.  Offensively, she had 16 hits in 72 at-bats overall, but went 9-for-33 during IIAC play.  Three of those nine base knocks against IIAC foes were home runs, including two in game one against Central on April 9.  Her second was a walk-off game-winner, giving the Beavers their first win over the Dutch in the last 20 tries.  She also appeared in 19 games on the mound, going 3-9 overall with a 4.74 ERA.  Following the year, she was named Second Team All-Conference.

2013:  Was her first season in a Beaver uniform after playing at DMACC.  She appeared in 10 games on the mound and compiled a 2-4 overall record.  She also made 35 official at-bats and finished with one double and one triple, while driving in two.
