About Tyler:  Is the son of Jeff Smaha and Tamii Smaha...has two brothers, Ryan and Josh, as well as one sister, Chelsea...his brother Josh played college soccer at Central College...his father played college basketball at Judson University.

High School Highlights:  He was a member of one State Championship and three state runner ups while playing club for JUSC.  He also appeared in varsity games for Johnston Dragons for one year.

In addition to athletics, he was named the Business Student of the Year.

College Highlights:
2014: Tyler appeared in and started all 18 matches for the team as a sophomore and was tied for the team lead with three assists.  The first of those came in the season-opening 2-1 victory over Martin Luther on August 29th before he dished out one in consecutive matches against Cornell College and Presentation College, respectively.

2013: Played in all 18 matches for the team on the year, including 13 starts.  He finished the season with two goals and two assists and was voted on by his teammates as the ''Rookie of the Year''.  He dished out his first collegiate assist in just his second career game and scored his first goal against nationally-ranked Loras on October 12.
