About Jose:  Is the son of Sylvia Trevino...has one brother, TJ, as well as two sisters, Yazmine and Ashley.

High School Highlights:  Was a varsity letterwinner as a sophomore, junior and senior for the Tigers where he was a member of a two-time state playoff team that advanced to the second round both times.

Aside from athletics, he was also a two-time Academic All-State selection.

College Highlights:
2014: Played primarily as a member of the junior varsity team as a sophomore.

2013: Played primarily as a member of the junior varsity squad for the Beavers as a freshman while also seeing playing time on special teams at the varsity level.  He did record one tackle in a reserve role against Bethel in Week 3.
