Biography

About Gunner: Is the son of Doyle and Julie...has one brother, Garrett, as well as one sister, Katie.

High School Highlights:  Was a four-year letterwinner on the gridiron for the Vikings en route to earning First Team All-District and First Team All-State accolades throughout his career.  He also served as a team captain and was a Shrine Bowl participant.  In addition to football, he also earned four letters in both track and baseball, while lettering three years in basketball.

Aside from athletics, he was listed on the Honor Roll.

College Highlights:
2014: Gunner turned in a career-year for BVU and became one of the team''s leading receivers.  He caught a team-leading 67 passes for 1,101 yards and 15 touchdowns.  He turned in a career-best 15 catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns during BVU''s comeback win against Simspon on Oct. 4.  He had four games with at least two touchdown grabs and had at least one in the team''s final eight games. Following the year, he went on to earn First Team All-IIAC accolades.

2013: He transfered to BVU for the start of his junior season and appeared in all 10 of the team''s games.  He finished the year ranked fourth on the team overall with 21 catches.  He was third on the team in total yards (371) and touchdown grabs (3), while leading the way in yards per catch at 17.7.
