About Ryan: Is the son of Steve and Michelle Anderson...has one brother, Blake.

High School Highlights: He earned two varsity letters for the Black Raiders and was a Second Team All-Conference selection as a junior. In addition to football, he lettered three years in soccer and was a two-time All-Conference performer, earning First Team accolades as a junior. He also lettered twice in track and once in baseball. Aside from athletics, he was listed on the "A" Honor Roll all four years and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was also a part of the national council on youth leadership.

College Highlights:
2014: Ryan was limited to six games on the year due to injury.  He finished the year with 19 total tackles and two interceptions.  He also ranked fourth on the team with three pass breakups.  He registered a season-best seven tackles and chalked up both INT''s during BVU''s thrilling comeback win against Simpson on October 4.  Following the year, he was selected to the Academic All-IIAC Team for the thrid straight time.

2013: Started all 10 games for the Beavers and was the team''s seventh-leading tackler with 41 and was third in pass break-ups with five.  His three interceptions on the year was tied for the team lead and was tied for second in the IIAC.  Following the year, he earned a spot on the Academic All-IIAC Team for the second straight year.

2012
: Was the team''s primary place-kicker for kick-offs and finished the season with an average of 57.9 yards per kick, including six touchbacks.  Posted a career-high four tackles (3 solo) in season-opener against UW-Platteville.  Following the season, he was also named to the Academic All-IIAC in his first year of eligibilty.

2011: Was the team''s starting place kicker and led the team with a kick-off average of 54.1 yards, including two touchbacks. He went 2-of-2 in PAT attempts against both the University of Dubuque and Coe College. Did see limited action defensively, and chalked up his two tackles on the year in the season opener against UW-Platteville.
