Biography

About Michael: Michael is the son of Brad Herwig and Dawn Sambrano. He has one brother Nick Keith, and two sisters, Katie and Jess Sambrano.

High School Highlights: He was All-Conference, All-State, and a member of the State Runner-Up team. He lettered in track and football four years, and two years for baseball and basketball.

Why did you choose BVU? It was still close to home.

2017: As a freshman, Michael was sixth on the team in tackles with a total of 45. He also had two interceptions, both against the University of Dubuque. 
2019: played 10 games in his 3rd year with the beaver and he in total of 53 tackles. He was in top 2 on the team.
