About Griffin: Is the son of Todd and Shannon...has two sisters, Abby and Isabelle.
High School Highlights: He earned two varsity letters in football for the Tigers, finishing fourth in the Little Hawkeye Conference in receiving yards as a senior. In addition to football, he was a two-time letterwinner in wrestling and once in baseball.
College Highlights:
2017: He played in all 10 games of the season recording 35 tackles. Against Washington University he had a season high 10 tackles, 8 of the them being solo tackles.
2016: He played in all 10 games of the season, totalling 56 tackles, good for fourth on the team. In the last game of the season against Wartburg, he would total 12 tackles, a season high. He had double-digit tackles twice, and had at least five tackles in six out of ten games.
2015: He would play in all 10 games this year. He would be 8th on the team in total tackles including 18 solo and 20 assisted. Against Central he would record a season high 9 tackles including 7 solo and 1 fumble recovery.
2014: Griffin saw the majority of his team playing on the junior varsity during his freshman season.
