STORM LAKE, Iowa (June 24, 2026) - The College Sports Communicators recently announced its Cross Country/Track & Field Academic All-District Team, and Buena Vista landed a pair of student-athletes on the team.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in academic standing and be listed on the sport's eligibility report, maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. For the sports of cross country and track & field, specifically, eligible nominees will be based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination. Note: Only individual ranked performances are to be used for eligibility. If a student-athlete has participated in a RELAY EVENT, that can bolster the nomination but the basic criteria to be met is for INDIVIDUAL performances. Relays cannot be the basis for eligibility.
- NCAA institutions:
- Cross Country - Top-50 individual performance at the NCAA regional competition during the current academic year
- Track - Top-50 regional ranking in single event (indoor or outdoor)
