STORM LAKE, Iowa - The BVU Valorant team opened up NECC Division IX Central playoffs with a 2-1 victory over Cornell College JV. The Beavers advance to play the #2 seed Carthage Firebirds. 

The two teams opened up play on Ascent and BVU won a close battle 13-9. Angel Lopez led thw way with 20 eliminations and 14 assists. Cameron Germain had 18 eliminations and nine assists. On map two which Lotus the Beavers fell 13-5 with Will Roland leading the way 15 eliminations. In a must win the two teams played a close round on Split. The Beavers battled hard and came away with a 13-10 victory. Lopez led the way again with 28 eliminations and 12 assists. 

BVU is 5-1 on the year entering the semifinals.
