STORM LAKE, Iowa - Buena Vista University Mario Kart Gold squad picks up a Division 4 quarterfinal victory over Coe College on Sunday evening. The Beavers controlled the match and will now take on #1 seed New Mexico on Sunday, October 19th at 7 pm. 

Now that we are in the playoffs it is a best of three format. In the first round the Beavers dominated winning 533-431. BVU had four of the top five point scorers with Amber Lawthers leading the way with 145. Rhyann Rojas finished with 111and Matthew Forristal finished with 96. 

In Round 2 the Beavers continued their domination winning the match 522-447. Lawthers led the way with 124 points while Rojas and Parker Currie finished with 100 and 104. 

BVU now sits at 7-1-2 on the season. The last time the Beavers played New Mexico was in week one on September 15. The Beavers fell 551-433. Lawthers finished with 120 points.
