STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Buena Vista University Esports squad combined to go 5-4 in competition on Thursday, January 30th. 

Rocket League competed in NECC placement matches going 3-2 collectively. BVU Gold won their first placement match 3-2 over Missouri S & T. Round 2 and 3 were a little tougher as BVU Gold fell 3-0 against South Dakota School of Mines and 3-1 against Oklahoma Wesleyan University. BVU Navy had a solid night defeating Minot State 3-1 and Fort Lewis 3-0. 

Rainbow Six Siege competed in Midwest R6 placement matches. The Beavers defeated Wichita State Technical College 7-5 before falling to Nebraska-Kearney 7-5 and Cumberland University 7-0. 

Overwatch Navy had a solid night defeating York (Nebraska) 3-0 to open up ECAC spring competition.
