STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers League of Legends squad opened up the spring NECC season. The first week was a best of one format competing against three different teams for placement into next weeks regular season divisions. 

The Beavers opened up against Mississippi State Black where the took the match advancing to winners round two. The Beavers beat UNO in the second match before falling to St. Lawrence University. The Beavers competed in Division 5 placements and will find out what division they will be in later this week. 

Members of the LOL team are Luke Hatchitt, Alex Chadzynski, Kaden Barton, Daniel Zeman, Gabe McCrea and Layne Carstens. We look forward to the season.
