STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Buena Vista University Valorant squad picked up a 2-0 (13-4, 13-6) victory over Bradley University Pookies to open up NECC regular season competition. Next week the Beavers take on Loyola who is also 1-0 on the season. 

The Beavers came out ready to roll opening up 11-2 lead. Bradley won the next two rounds before BVU ended winning the last two round taking the map 13-4. In map two the two teams traded the first eight rounds being tied 4-4. The Beavers ended the match winning nine of the final eleven rounds taking map two 13-6. Angel Lopez led the way with 26 kills while Will Roland finished with 16. 

Tonight the Beavers have League of Legends, Rocket League, Smash and NBA 2K competing.
