STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers Valorant team continues to stay hot with a 3-1 victory in ECAC Division G semifinals over #2 seed CUNY Hostos. The Beavers advance to the ECAC championship for the first time in school history and will take on #5 Catholic University of America on Tuesday, December 10 at 7 pm. 

BVU started slow falling 13-7 in the opening map. Libby Franken led the way with 18 eliminations while Angel Lopez and Will Roland had 14. BVU found their grove dominating the next three round winning 13-7, 13-6 and 13-8. In the second map Lopez had 28 eliminations while Fanken had 18. 

Map 3 Roland and Cameron Germain led the way with 19 and 16 eliminations while in the final map Lopez and Franken led the way with 34 and 23 eliminations respectively. 

The Beavers are currently 9-1 on the year in ECAC competition with their only loss coming against CUNY Hostos in the regulars season. The Beavers will finish in the top two our of 32 teams in their division.
