STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Buena Vista University Beavers League of Legends and Valorant teams continue playoffs tonight. Both won their first round matches last week advancing into the bracket. 

League of Legends is coming off a 2-0 victory over 3rd seed College of Eastern Idaho advancing to the semifinals of NECC Division VIII West playoffs. The Beavers take on #2 Carthage Firebirds at 7:30 pm. Carthage beat Concorida-Nebraska 2-0 to advance to the semifinals. The Beavers and the Firebirds met in the regular season where with Carthage came away with the 2-0 victory. Carthage is undefeated on the season while the Beavers are 5-3 with their playoff victory. 

Valorant is the 6th seed and advanced out of the round of 16 with a 2-0 (13-3, 13-11) victory over the University of Montana. The Beavers will take on #3 seed Mississippi at 7 pm in ECAC Division G quarterfinals. Mississippi advanced with a 2-0 victory over Potomac State (13-11, 13-11). Ole Miss is undefeated in the league while the Beavers have loss just one match this year.
