Rainbow Six Qualifies for postseason with victory over Cornell

Finish Regular season 4-1

STORM LAKE, Iowa - The  BVU Rainbow Six squad had a solid contest last night against Cornell College defeating them 2- (7-1, 7-3). The victory improved them to 4-1 in the regular season earning the #2 seed in the Navigators A division. They will start playoffs next week competing against the #3 seed out of Navigators B division. If the playoffs started today BVU would compete against WVU Tech. 

Last night the two teams traded the first two rounds of the contest before the Beavers won the last six round claiming the 7-1 victory. Andrew Melohn and Nathan Reusch led the way with 11 and 10 kills respectively. 

The second map started similar to the first map with the teams trading the first two round. From there the Beavers won the next four claiming a commanding 5-1 lead. The two teams would trade the next four rounds with BVU clinching the map and match 7-3. Melohn led the way again with 13 kills while Dylan Anderson had 10.
