Rainbow Six and Smash Falls in NECC Competition

Valorant picks up win in ECAC play

STORM LAKE, Iowa - Rainbow Six Siege fall for the first time last night in NECC play 2-0 against St. Edwards University out of Texas. Smash had a competitive game against St. Ambrose ultimately falling 2-0 (12-7, 12-9). Valorant improves to 3-2 in ECAC play with a victory of Southeast Missouri State by scores of 13-1, 13-1. Ashley Tompkins fell 2-0 in NBA 2K falling to 2-3 on the season. 

Rainbow Six falls to 2-1 on the season and will take on Northeast Wisconsin Technical College next Tuesday at 7 pm. Smash falls to 0-4 on the season and will take on Waldorf University next Tuesday at 7:30 pm. 

Valorant dominated their match. In match one Will Roland led the way in the opening map with 20 kills while Max Grace had 15. Braden Houx had 14 while Libby Franken and Liliana Guinan had 12 and 10 respectively. In map two Grace had 19 kills while Franken had 17. 

Busy night tonight for Esports as both Rocket League teams, Overwatch and FIFA compete in ECAC. Smash competes in NACE while League of Legends playes in NECC.
