LoL and Valorant look to advance to Championship tonight

Rainbow Six falls to Clark University in Semi Finals

STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Beavers Valorant and League of Legends squad compete tonight in the National Esports Collegiate Conference semi finals.

Valorant comes in as the #1 seed and advanced defeating #8 Waldorf 2-1 while their opponent Concordia-Nebraska comes in as the #4 seed defeating Robert Morris University 2-1 in their quarterfinal match. This marks the first meeting between the two schools this year. Watch at https://www.twitch.tv/cune_esports at 7 pm. 

The Beavers League of Legends squad advanced to the semi finals with a 2-0 over the #4 seed Waldorf University. BVU is the #5 seed and will take on the #1 seed Augustana College Vikings at 7 pm. Winner will advance to the championship. Watch the match at https://www.twitch.tv/augieesports. 

The Beavers Rainbow Six squad season ended last night in the Navigators semi finals with a 2-0 (7-5, 7-4) loss against Clark University. The Beavers were the #3 seed while Clark was the #2 seed. BVU beat Clark in the regular season 2-1 but could come up with the big plays to come out on top. Rainbow Six finished their season with a 7-2 overall record. We look for big things in the spring from this squad.
