STORM LAKE, Iowa - Rainbow Six squad opens up NECC Navigators playoffs tonight against the Hastings Broncos. The Beavers come in as the 3rd seed with a 7-1 overall record while Hastings is the 6th seed with a 2-5 overall record. The contest will start at 8 pm and will be streamed on twitch at www.twitch.tv/bvuesports. 

The Beavers come into the contest on a seven match winning streak. After opening the regulars season with a 2-0 (7-4, 7-1) loss against Nebraska-Kearney. After that the Beavers found their grove. 

In week 2 the Beavers lost the opening map 7-1 against Clark Red before rallying to win 7-4, 7-2 taking the match 2-1. In week three the Beavers beat Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville Black 7-0 and 8-7. In week four the Beavers beat Coe College Club 7-3, 7-3. 

The continued their winning ways beating Murrray State Blue 7-4, 7-0, Hastings 7-2, 7-3 and Defiance 7-3, 7-0. BVU finished the regular season winning 12 of 15 maps played and won 91-52 rounds within the maps. 

If the Beavers win they will take on #2 seed Clark Red or #7 seed SIUE Black on Tuesday, November 29th.
